专利说明:

The present invention relates to a gaming table device, in particular of the casino type, comprising a gaming table with a game mat defining at least one playing zone and tokens and / or plates intended to be deposited on the playmat The preferred field of application of the present invention is that of the equipment equipping casinos and gaming rooms.
A classic gaming table is provided to accommodate one or more players, as well as a dealer. Its game mat is designed according to the type of game: poker, baccarat, blackjack, roulette, SicBo, Craps and their variants. A classic table for baccarat is shown in Figure 1. There are five sets of ZTi play areas each comprising a PLAYER play area, a BANKER play area and a TIE play area. >, arranged in a fan around a recess where is positioned the croupier.
In the prior art, there are already tokens and / or game boards that are provided with detectable means, such as an RFID chip. There are also game tables where one or more game area (s) is / are equipped (s) of token detectors and / or detectable game boards. These detectors are arranged below the game mat at certain play areas.
When a player deposits game chips and / or game plates on a game area of the gaming table, they are detected in real time and their identification elements are sent electronically to a computer. This computer retrieves this information and can compare it to a database in order to verify that these bet elements (token - plate) have the authorization of use and / or that they comply (counterfeit).
The detectors and the computer thus make it possible to collect information on the authenticity, identity, location, value and quantity of tokens and plates deposited on certain playing areas of the game mat. not aware that their bets are so analyzed and even ignore it. In any case, there is no interference between this information and the course of the game and the decisions of the players.
An object of the present invention is to improve the player experience at a casino table without compromising the performance of the initial game as well as security at the table.
The device of the present invention has the main objective of finely analyzing the bets of the players at a gaming table, including managing a gradual bets, to bring new automatic features of games to players, without adding an additional constraint the croupier (s), nor a slowing down or too much complexity of the game. More generally still, the device of the present invention aims to create an interaction between the player and the information collected by the detectors and the computer.
For this purpose, the invention proposes a gaming table device, in particular of the casino type, characterized in that it comprises: at least one gaming table with a game mat defining at least one identified playing area, delimited locally, with the game area being equipped with at least one object detection and identification system, such as tokens and / or plates, dice, cards and / or laptops, less a computer equipped with software capable of retrieving and analyzing at least one detection information sent by the object detection and identification system of said at least one game area, • tokens and / or plates deposited on the game mat, and in particular on said at least one game zone identified so that the object detection and identification system of said game zone generates at least one detection information which is sent to the game area. 'gold to be analyzed, • the computer software further generating at least one action information resulting from the analysis of at least one detection information, this action information being sent to an identified game area , which may be the one from which the detection information or other identified game area originates, which identified game area has received the action information activating a specific functionality usable by a player.
Unlike a conventional gaming table, that of the present invention offers interactivity with players by offering them various features. Among these features provided to the players, one can take as an example the activation of a new game area following a bet of a certain amount or the multiplication of loyalty points whose multiplying factor depends on adjustable bet levels.
The underlying technical principle is based on the detection of bets on a very precisely defined playing area, regardless of its position and size relative to the other playing zones, in that a bet is associated autonomously and This analysis is made possible by the autonomous identification in real time, for each player, of the very precise location of a multitude of stakes, in stacks of chips or not, on the surface of the table, as well as amounts, through a system of recognition and identification of chips and casino plates. To this precise localized detection is added the ability to interpret the information sent by each game area to a computer to control the bets of players, interpret these bets based on the game and the state of its progress to deduce a continuation the course of the game.
When a player deposits on a specific area of the game table tokens and / or game plates to make a bet, these elements are detected in real time and their identification elements are sent electronically to a computer. With the information sent by the game area, the computer derives a bet amount allocated to the game area that it compares with the rules and features of the game in progress to infer the continuation of the game. According to a preferred embodiment, this comparison of the rules and functionalities is carried out by querying a database.
More specifically, the following embodiments may be listed: the identified playing area is not visually locatable on the playing mat when it is not activated, the identified playing area is delimited by a light source which is triggered by the action information, thereby informing the player that this identified playing area is activated, a screen associated with the identified playing area displays readable visual information in relation to the action information, the detection system and identification of objects includes a wireless sensor, RFID type (NFC), Bluetooth, Infrared, WIFI, allowing the player to deposit a laptop and / or a loyalty card on the identified game area which will then detected, then identified according to a suitable process, the identified identified playing area provides the player with additional ways to play, the computer is placed near the game table and / o u remote and connected to a computer network, the computer retrieves and analyzes detection information from game areas located at the same gaming table or several separate tables, the information received by the computer allow the software: • to measure the amount of a bet on a single play area, • assign a bet amount to a single play area or to a set of play zones, by addition. • assign a bet or set of wagers to a uniquely identified entity. • to return information or information to one or more game zones according to its analysis, the software compares the results of its analysis with information located in a database to return at least one action information to said at least one a game area identified.
All the operations performed following the sending of the information of the game area as mentioned above can thus be performed by a single computer or by a set of computers in which each computer has a well-defined role.
The rest of the process of the part deduced by the computer can be "physical" as for example the return of information to another area of play that will then activate and accept the detection of wagers game.
The rest of the process can be "virtual" such as updating information in databases. This update of the database can then lead to any action related to the current game.
The rest of the process is not exclusively "physical" or "virtual" but can indeed appeal to these two consequences.
Advantageously, at least one gaming zone is capable of detecting and identifying other detectable elements than tokens and game boards, such as a membership (or loyalty) card or an electronic device (laptop, mobile phone, Tablet).
The detection of a membership card thus allows the device to link an account to a player account, mainly to implement sequences of "virtual" of a party.
The detection of an electronic device thus makes it possible to identify a player and to make his bets interact with a software integrated in this electronic device, mainly enabling the implementation of "physical" unfolding sequences of a game. Other features and advantages of the present invention will emerge from the description given below, with reference to the accompanying drawings which illustrate embodiments having no limiting character.
Among these drawings:
Figure 1 shows a classic game table seen from a player, with the playing areas drawn on the table of the game table.
FIG. 2 represents a game table with the visualization of the playing zones drawn or not, equipped with a detection system.
Figure 3 shows the detail of a game area drawn on the carpet of the game table and equipped with a detection system.
FIG. 4 represents a complete hardware architecture for implementing the device of the invention.
Figure 5 shows an untraced play area that detects the presence of a mobile device.
FIG. 6 represents a game zone equipped with a detection system and provided with LEDs on the periphery of the playing zone.
Figure 1, previously commented, represents a game table T of baccarat, similar to the prior art, without the device according to the invention. The player visualizes five sets of three game zones traced ZT1, ZT2 and ZT3 on the game mat T which are staging zones, namely areas where to place chips and / or plates to make bets, namely a "PLAYER" playing area, "BANKER" playing area and "TIE" playing area. In this example, the zones are exclusively bet zones, but it may be otherwise. The number of series and the number of zones in each series is purely illustrative, and in no way limiting.
Figure 2 shows a game table T which may be that of Figure 1, but now provided with detection systems and identification of game elements placed under play areas, which are drawn or not.
An SDT1 detection and identification system placed under a ZT3 playing zone traced on the game mat T allows the detection of specific game elements (tokens J1, J2, plates, dice) equipped with detectable means (for example RFID , NEC) and placed exclusively in the surface delimited by the layout on the mat and visible to the player, in accordance with the rules of the game in force. An SDT1 detection and identification system may nevertheless be capable of detecting any other game elements (telephones, membership cards, etc.) the size of which is not limited by the area delimited by the layout. There is no requirement for all ZT1, ZT2 and ZT3 traced zones to be equipped with an SDTk detection and identification system.
An SDNT1 detection and identification system placed under an undrawn playing zone ZNT1 on the carpet T allows the detection of various game elements, as well as tokens J1, J2 and plates as other elements. It is the functionality provided by the invention that will primarily define the use. There is no obligation on the number of systems for the detection and identification of playing zones not drawn on the carpet,
In Figure 2, the ZT3 game area is a traced or visible area that the player can easily locate, while the ZNT1 game area is not traced and therefore invisible until it is activated. The set of SDT1 and SDNT1 systems can be provided with a wired connection C1 and C3 connecting them to a data concentrator 10. These connections can be bidirectional, namely to transmit information from each detection and identification system SDT1 or SDNT1 to the hub 10, but also transmit information from the hub 10 to at least one detection and identification system SDT1 and / or SDNT1. However, the transfer of information from or to a detection and identification system can be done through wireless technology.
Figure 3 shows an SDT1 detection and identification system placed beneath the ZT3 traced play area (TIE), as well as the C3 wire connection. This SDT1 detection and identification system may have a larger area than the corresponding ZT3 traced area, but it is designed to detect only specific game elements (tokens / plates) placed inside the surface of the traced area ZT3. Thus, in this FIG. 3, the token J1 will be detected and identified by SDT1 while the token J2 will not be detected. It can also be noted in this figure 3 that a screen E can be associated with the zone ZT3 to communicate information legible to the player. The screen E is here located adjacent to the zone ZT3, but it is also possible to integrate it in the zone, or on the contrary to move it further away from the zone. The E screen is activated at the same time as the ZT3 zone, or later.
FIG. 4 shows a possible, but nonlimiting, architecture for the complete implementation of the invention in which the game table T equipped with the concentrator 10 connected to a computer 12 is found by means of a cable 11. In this embodiment, FIG. architecture, the software installed in the computer 12 asks the concentrator 10 for information on the game elements detected on the play zones drawn or not, provided on the table T, which convey through the cable 11. In this same architecture, the software returns information to the hub 10 as a result of previously received information. Other architectures are possible as the use of several computers and / or software to perform the tasks of the software installed in the computer 12 as shown in this FIG. 4. Another possible architecture is the deletion of the concentrator 10 and its cable. 11 for wireless communication between the detection systems installed in the table T and the computer 12.
FIG. 5 shows a detection and identification system SDNT1 placed under an undrawn play zone ZNT1, capable of detecting and identifying an electronic device placed on the game mat T and not limited to above the surface detection system SDNT1. Compared to game elements specific to a real bet (tokens / plates), the detection and identification of the electronic apparatus is not limited to the surface of an equivalent traced zone as in FIG.
This detection and identification system SDNT1 can also send information to the electronic device according to the rules of the game and the current state. An example of simple use is sending the electronic device the amount of a bet of a player to display the value on the screen.
FIG. 6 shows a detection and identification system SDNT1, as well as its wire connection C1, placed under a non-traced play zone ZNT1 and provided with an LED assembly, at the periphery of its detection surface Ak. Upon receipt of specific information received by the connection C1, the detection system SDTN1 is able to control the LEDs, unitarily or by partial or complete assembly. The control of these LEDs makes it possible to visually materialize an untracked playing zone ZNT1 on the mat T and thus to add an active playing area for the player. This new game zone and visible is not exclusively intended to detect and identify specific game elements (tokens, plates).
Very generally, the computer software 12 generates at least one action information resulting from the analysis of at least one detection information sent by the system for detecting and identifying objects SDT1, SDNT1 from least one game zone ZT3, ZNT1 on which is disposed one or more detectable game elements, this action information being then sent to an identified game area, which may be the one from which the detection information is derived or a another identified game area, this identified game area that has received the action information activating a clean functionality usable by a player. The deposit of one or more chips or plates on a game area provided with a detection and identification system can thus activate: a new game area on which the player can bet, a new game area on which the user can deposit his phone, tablet or laptop, or his membership or loyalty card, light sources (eg LEDs) that delimit a new game area, a screen associated with a game area traced or to a newly activated gaming zone to communicate readable information to the player, additional ways to play.
The device of the invention, by delivering information to the game zones or directly to the players, creates an interactivity and a multiplication of features that the player can use as he wishes to adapt his game strategy, increase his chances of winning, diversify his game, accumulate his points on his loyalty card, etc.
Example of application of the invention with a "virtual" effect of a player bet:
All "TIE" areas of a Baccarat table are equipped with the chip and plate detection system.
For each player, another zone of play ("PLAYER" or "BANKER" or dedicated zone) is able to read a member card of a player attached to his loyalty points account.
Once the device of this invention has recognized the customer's account, the customer is able to compare the bets made on the player's "TIE" area with a database table that defines the loyalty point multiplier acquired according to the bet.
Thus, if, for example, the amount of the bet is in a bet level that allows the player to multiply the loyalty points normally earned by 2, then the device automatically adds this new number of loyalty points to his account.
Example of application of the invention with a "physical" effect of a player bet:
Each main bet zone of a blackjack table is equipped with the chip and plate detection system. Next to each main betting area is another playing area, not drawn on the mat (thus not visible to the player) and equipped with light emitting diodes (LED) on its periphery.
The device is then able to detect the placing of a player on his main bet area and compare it to a database table which defines a minimum bet threshold for activating a second bet zone.
Thus, if a player makes a bet above this threshold, the device returns information to the game area not drawn on the mat so that the LEDs light up and thus make appear a new active play area and visible by the player.
